As an ecumenical ministry, it is crucial to note Telos’ explicit commitment to historical Christian doctrine—we rely on Sacred Scripture as a guide for all our practices. Telos Event Ministries affirm historic Christian belief as contained in the Apostles’ Creed and Nicene Creed, which have served as the basis of Christian belief since the first century.
While we recognize the existence of many denominations and their various doctrines, our intention is to put aside non-essentials, and bring together the many members of Christ’s church with the common purpose of pursuing spiritual growth and a missional engagement with the people and events of our lives.
Respecting, and learning from, the fruitful ministries of the historic church, we encourage forms of ministry found in the clearest thinking and best practices of the liturgical, charismatic, contemplative and evangelical traditions.
